Peter Wood

Peter brings a breadth of experience shaped by both large-scale estate agency and hands-on building knowledge, offering a well-rounded and practical understanding of property. His early career was spent within a large estate agency operating across the North East, where he developed strong foundations in residential sales, buyer engagement, and transaction handling. He later stepped away from estate agency to work in the building trade, gaining valuable insight into construction, materials, and the realities behind how homes are built, adapted, and improved.

Joining Northumberland Properties in the early days of the business, Peter took a leading role in sales progression and accompanied viewings, becoming closely involved in guiding transactions through to completion. His role has since evolved to encompass property presentation, photography, and social media, with a clear understanding of how homes should be positioned visually and digitally to reach a national audience. Alongside this, Peter remains actively involved in negotiating sales and supporting the day-to-day running of the office, contributing to a collaborative, detail-focused service that supports clients at every stage of the selling process.
