Helen brings over two decades of experience in residential property, with a career that extends well beyond traditional estate agency. Beginning in the new-build sector, she worked on major developments across the North East, undertaking site-based sales, negotiating on behalf of national housebuilders, and collaborating with multiple agencies on flagship schemes in Newcastle and Gosforth. Her background also includes experience within a high-end international property environment at Knight Frank, shaping a measured approach to pricing, presentation, and buyer engagement at the upper end of the market.

As Sales Director at Northumberland Properties, Helen’s role is intentionally broad and hands-on. She leads on market appraisal, pricing strategy, negotiation, and the day-to-day operation of the office, while also supporting the team and maintaining close involvement throughout each sale. Alongside this, she plays a central role in shaping brand perception through marketing, driving business growth, and leading the firm’s new-build and developer offering, creating considered launch strategies and marketing plans that reflect both the product and the market. This depth of involvement provides clients and developers alike with confidence that every instruction is guided by experience, continuity, and commercial judgement from appraisal through to completion.
